In 2010, our meetings will be held on the third Friday of each month (except for January, July, August and December). Location and time of the meetings is at 8:00pm in the classroom of the Floral Hall at VanDusen Botanical Garden (37th and Oak Street, Vancouver).

We are a fun and friendly group of shade gardening enthusiasts. At our meetings, we have educational presentations, discuss cultivation techniques, hold plant sales, parlour shows and raffles.
We also have special guest speakers at some of our meetings who illustrate, demonstrate and give their unique perspectives on how to produce and grow beautiful shade plants. Information about upcoming guest speakers and their presentation topics can be found in the newsletter section."
Annual membership dues are $15.00 for single membership and $18.00 for a family (two or more at the same address). Membership dues are half price after July 1.
All members will receive a copy of the Society's Constitution/Bylaws, a membership card and a name tag.
